Recycled fashion trends is all the rage — but one Seattlite is transforming clothing articles into outfits.
Pepper: Re-Couture is a boutique clothing store in Seattle that combines high fashion and retro designs in a unique way, according to an article in the Seattle Times. Owner Pepper Peterson started the business two years ago after discovering her talent for seeing clothing items as materials. One of Pepper’s first ventures was creating a bare-back dress out of more than a dozen men’s ties.
“That’s when I knew I had a talent, and I should keep nurturing it,” she said in the article.
And that talent is daring — with a black and white dress trimmed with human hair!
It pays to be creative.
